Workflow

How it works

  1. 01

    Pick your editor

Choose Video Playable Maker for playable ads built on a video, with breaks and overlays. Choose End Cards Maker to start from a prebuilt template, or Playable Ads Maker to build from scratch with multiple scenes and events.

  2. 02

    Design your creative

Drag in backgrounds, text, images and CTA buttons. Add GPU-accelerated particles, animated sprites and parallax backgrounds, plus the interactions each editor offers (breaks, scene transitions or tap and hold events), and preview as you work.

  3. 03

    Export for ad networks

Enter your iOS and Android store URLs, pick your networks (Unity, Google, Meta, TikTok, AppLovin, Mintegral and others) and download HTML5 files that are ready to upload.

Export

Supported networks

Export playable ads for Google Ads (UAC), Meta, TikTok, Pangle, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Moloco, AppLovin, Liftoff, Vungle, Chartboost, InMobi and more. End cards work on every one of them. Each export is a single HTML file or HTML5 ZIP built to that network's specs.

Frequently asked questions

How do I create a playable ad?

Pick an editor: Video Playable Maker, End Cards Maker (prebuilt templates) or Playable Ads Maker (built from scratch). Add your background, headline, CTA button and any images or animations. Then enter your iOS and Android store URLs in the export window and download the HTML for your ad network. No coding is needed.

Which editor should I use: Video Playable Maker, End Cards Maker or Playable Ads Maker?

Video Playable Maker is for video-first creatives with mid-roll breaks and overlays. End Cards Maker gets you a finished screen quickly, starting from one of 40 ready-made templates. Playable Ads Maker gives you a blank canvas with multiple scenes, branching navigation and tap, hold and double-tap events.

What's the difference between a playable ad and an interactive end card?

A playable ad is a short interactive experience, such as tap-to-play or branching scenes, shown before the install prompt. An interactive end card is a lighter single-screen CTA, usually shown after a video ad. Both export as compliant HTML5. Build full playables in Playable Ads Maker and quick end cards in End Cards Maker.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You build everything in a visual editor by dragging, dropping and setting options, and the HTML5 for each supported network is generated when you export.

Can I preview my playable ad before exporting?

Yes. Press Play (or the Space bar) to preview animations, particle effects, breaks and scene transitions on the canvas, with no export needed. You can also turn on Web Preview in the export window to test the real exported build in your browser.

Can I build branching, multi-scene playables?

Yes, in Playable Ads Maker. Link scenes with Go-to-Scene actions, animate the change between them (crossfade, wipe, zoom blur or pixelate), and trigger up to 9 action types from tap, hold or double-tap events.

What networks are supported?

Playables export to Google Ads (UAC), Meta (Facebook), TikTok, Pangle, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Moloco, AppLovin, Liftoff, Vungle, Chartboost and InMobi; end cards to the networks among them that take an interactive end card. Each export is a single HTML file or ZIP built to that network's specs.

Is export compatible with Google UAC?

Yes. The editor exports the HTML5 ZIP format Google Ads asks for and meets the UAC playable ad specs. Files stay under 5 MB, and you can compress assets for faster loading.

What's the maximum file size for a playable ad?

All supported networks accept up to 5 MB per HTML file, and 1.5–2 MB loads fastest. The export window shows a live size estimate and blocks export at 5 MB or more. Use Compress Assets to bring an oversized creative back under the limit.

Does the exported file work without an internet connection?

Yes. Every export is a single self-contained HTML file (or a ZIP for networks that require one) with all images, audio and video embedded. It makes no external requests and needs no CDN, so it loads the same way inside any ad network's sandboxed webview.

Do I need to set up app store redirects myself?

No. Enter your iOS App Store and Google Play URLs once in the export window. The exported ad detects the viewer's device and opens the right store, so there is nothing to set up per button.

Do I need a plan to export?

Not to start. A new free account gets 2 free exports in your first 14 days — 1 ad network per export, with our branding screen — and web previews are free on every plan. Every paid plan removes the branding and adds monthly exports and more networks per export: Solo ($29.99/month), Studio ($99.99/month) or Agency ($349.99/month), billed monthly.
