Scrolling text is a ticker: one short phrase that repeats across a playable ad forever, with an optional colour band behind it. This tutorial adds a second ticker to a run-club sale over a photo and covers every setting - the phrase, the band, direction, speed, gap and separator, and the type - then plays it through to the End Card.

A sale that never stops talking: two tickers, running opposite ways over a photo. Every word is live text - change it any time.
That's scrolling text. In the next few minutes: the words, the band, direction and speed, gap and separator, and the type.
Add New Object, Scrolling Text. It starts scrolling straight away. I'll stretch it across the bottom of the screen.

Text Content is one short phrase, and it repeats forever. Three or four ideas, no more.
Background puts a band behind it. None takes the band away again. Yellow - and the text goes black, so it reads.
Direction: left is the classic ticker. Right runs the other way - that's the one at the top. Up and down scroll a column, for a tall box.
Speed is pixels per second. Two hundred is hard to read. Around eighty, anyone can.
Gap Between Repeats is the space before the phrase comes round again, and Separator is what sits in it - a dot, a star, anything.
The rest is type, like any text: font, weight, case, letter spacing - and a stroke, if it sits straight on a photo. Translations work too; the Localization video shows how.
Press Play, and the button takes the tap as usual.

Three mistakes to avoid. One: too fast. If you can't read it in one pass, nobody will.
Two: a paragraph. A ticker carries one short phrase - the rest belongs on the screen.
Three: a ticker across the thing you want tapped. Keep it at an edge.
